Dan L. Dodson serves as chief executive officer at Fortified Health Security, a recognized leader in cybersecurity — protecting patient data and reducing risk throughout the Fortified ecosystem. Through Dan’s expert leadership, Fortified partners with healthcare organizations to effectively develop the best path forward for their security program based on their unique needs and challenges.
Previously, Dan was an executive vice president at Santa Rosa Consulting. He has led strategic efforts for other healthcare and insurance organizations, including Dell Services, Covenant Health System, The Parker Group, and Hooper Holmes.
Dan’s work has been highlighted in numerous publications including Security Magazine, Associated Press, Medical Economics, HealthITSecurity, MedCity News, and Cybersecurity Dive. He was featured by Becker’s Hospital Review in 2018 as a rising healthcare leader under 40 and regularly speaks at industry-leading events including CHIME, HIMSS, and HIT Summits.
He is a current Association for Executives in Health Information Security (AEHIS) Board Member and previously served on the Southern Methodist University Cyber Security Advisory Board.
