Job Summary
The vice president of sales actively searches for new clients for SureTest’s solutions within the assigned region. This person pitches solutions to potential clients through various methods, assists in preparing proposal paperwork for clients, and participates in constructing the strategy of the Sales department.
Essential Job Functions

Research new potential clients that could benefit from SureTest’s solutions
- Utilizes various tools to conduct research on the target organizations, including the HIMSS database, Salesforce, and various social media resources, including LinkedIn
- Research should yield information about the appropriate high-level contact within the organization
Makes initial calls to organizational contacts to pitch the solutions
- Follows up with organizations after initial contact to gauge interest, answer questions, and schedule face-to-face meetings
Travels to be on-site with interested potential clients to further discuss SureTest and its solutions
- Organizes trips to visit other organizations within a close proximity to pitch solutions
Assists with the preparation of proposal paperwork, and facilitates delivery of the proposal to the client
Follows up with current clients to ensure they are satisfied with the solutions provided and seek repeat business
Participates in internal strategy meetings, including discussing current staffing needs
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business or similar field, or commensurate experience
- 2-3 years of outside and inside sales experience, including new client sales and account management for existing clients
